A Summer Wedding in Northamptonshire
Jenna & Nick’s Summer Wedding in Northamptonshire
In June, I had the absolute delight of photographing Jenna and Nick’s wedding. This one was a bit unique, as they booked me for two whole days of celebration! Their official wedding took place on Friday at the charming Symington Building in Market Harborough, Northamptonshire. Then, on Saturday, they hosted a blessing at a picturesque country home, where I got to spend the day capturing everyone having the time of their lives. Two days packed full of fun, this was a total blast to capture!
Market Harborough is practically in my backyard, so I’ve been there countless times. However, this was my first wedding shoot in the town centre. I arrived early to soak in the atmosphere, and before I knew it, guests started arriving, including the beaming Jenna and Nick. Breaking tradition, they embraced the moment they saw each other, which was simply heartwarming.
The weather was perfect, and happiness radiated from everyone. I spent just over an hour capturing the ceremony and all the joyous moments that followed. Once home, I backed up all the images and prepped for the next day.

Saturday’s blessing was held at a stunning home in the Northamptonshire countryside. The couple transformed the garden into a mini festival, complete with a marquee, lawn games, and more! Despite a few weather hiccups, the sun came out just when we needed it, allowing for beautiful family portraits and fun candid shots.
It was wonderful to see both adults and children enjoying the lawn games, which made for some fantastic photos. Jenna and Nick even brought their pet ducks along—definitely a first for me!
Everywhere I looked, guests were having an absolute blast. A big thank you to Jenna, Nick, and all the guests for making me feel so welcome. Wishing Jenna and Nick a lifetime of happiness together!
