Chloe & Gregg’s magical October Wedding at The Granary at Fawsley
What a way to wrap up the 2024 wedding season! Chloe & Gregg tied the knot at the ever-beautiful Granary at Fawsley, a venue I’ve been lucky enough to photograph countless times—and it never gets old. If you’ve been following my work, you’ll know just how much I adore this Northamptonshire gem. Fun fact: I’m even a recommended supplier here, which is still a pinch-me moment!
Meeting Chloe & Gregg: The Calm Before the Big Day
A few weeks before their wedding, I had the chance to meet up with Chloe and Gregg in person. We went over their timeline and had a good chat to get to know each other better. Right away, I could tell these two were the most laid-back, lovely people, and it was clear they couldn’t wait for their big day.
Wedding Day Bliss at The Granary at Fawsley
When the day rolled around, the weather decided to show off. October weddings can be hit or miss, but this one? Absolute sunshine from start to finish. It was perfect for all the lawn games and outdoor moments Chloe and Gregg had planned with their guests.
I arrived bright and early (as always!) to scope out the venue for fresh, creative ideas. One thing I love about The Granary is how it offers something new to capture every time I’m there. Chloe and her bridal crew were buzzing with excitement during prep, and the energy was contagious. One standout moment? Chloe reading a heartfelt card from Gregg—it even brought a few happy tears. Those personal touches are what make wedding days so special to photograph.

Emotional Moments and Surprise Guests
Chloe and Gregg’s day was packed with memorable moments. From the “first touch” where they held hands (without peeking!) before the ceremony to a tearful first look between Chloe and her dad—it was all so beautifully emotional. The ceremony itself? A rollercoaster of laughter and happy tears, and before we knew it, they were officially Mr and Mrs. Cheers to that!
And then came one of the best surprises I’ve ever captured. Right after the confetti toss, Gregg had arranged for their dog to make a surprise appearance. Chloe’s reaction was priceless—pure joy, and yes, a few more happy tears!
Drinks, Lawn Games, and Golden Hour Magic
The drinks reception was an absolute vibe. Think crazy golf, ice cream (in October, no less!), and lots of laughter. I captured group photos and some lovely couple portraits during this time, with the golden autumn sun making everything look extra dreamy.
Golden hour portraits are always a must for me, and Chloe and Gregg nailed it. By this point, they were totally at ease in front of the camera, and the results were magical. Later, we snuck out again for a few sunset shots—these two were total pros by then!

Evening Fun: Limbo and Fireworks
The evening kicked off with heartfelt speeches (done before the meal—great idea to avoid nervous nibbling!) and the wedding breakfast in the Granary’s gorgeous barn. Gregg’s mum deserves a shoutout for the cakes—seriously, they were next-level, and even the suppliers were raving about them!
When it was time to hit the dancefloor, things got hilariously competitive with a DIY limbo game using a belt. The energy was electric, and the photos? Pure gold. To top it all off, the night ended with an epic fireworks display—what better way to wrap up such an incredible day?
Thank You, Chloe & Gregg (and The Granary at Fawsley!)
Chloe and Gregg, thank you so much for letting me capture your beautiful wedding day. It was packed with laughter, love, and so many unforgettable moments. Huge thanks to your family and friends for making me feel so welcome, and a massive shoutout to the amazing team at The Granary at Fawsley for ensuring the day was flawless from start to finish.
Wishing you both a lifetime of happiness!

“Lewis shot our wedding, and he was absolutely fantastic. He arranged a call, even before we booked him, so we could see if it was a good match. A week before the wedding, we had a meeting so that we could discuss all the details but he also sends out surveys so you can let him know everything. On the day, he was brilliant. All of our guests have commented on how lovely he was. He was making sure he got the shots we wanted, but without overstepping. Everything was totally led by us, which meant we got to enjoy our day and get amazing photos. He also has brilliant ideas for creative photos, that we loved.” – Chloe & Greg
